Zoning Bylaw Town Hall and Public Hearing

Zoning Bylaw 17 of 2025 is a complete replacement of the municipality’s zoning regulations. It modernizes and simplifies land use rules across all districts. The bylaw introduces clearer standards for development agreements, signage, hazard lands, minor variances, performance and liability requirements, and environmental assessment letters. It adds updated definitions, diagrams, and tables to make the regulations easier to understand. The bylaw also expands, and updates permitted and discretionary uses, and rezones certain properties to better reflect current and future land use needs while maintaining existing uses.

 

A Come and Go Town Hall Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Drop in between 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to learn about proposed amendments to the current Zoning Bylaw and have your questions answered.

 

The Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
