SPRING ROAD WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT
Effective March 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM, all municipal roads, including subdivisions, are placed under special municipal spring road restrictions.
Restrictions:
• No hauling over 10 tonnes after 11:00 AM; and/or
• When temperatures are 0°C or warmer
Permits:
• Road Haul permits are mandatory for any hauling activity.
• Permit requests must be submitted no less than 24 hours in advance. (Permits received at or near the end of a business day will be processed the following business day).
• Permits may be obtained through the Municipal Office.
Exceptions:
• Essential service vehicles (Emergency and Waste Management Vehicles, including solid and liquid waste) are exempt from these restrictions.
These measures are in place to protect municipal infrastructure during seasonal conditions. We appreciate your cooperation.
Non-compliance may result in the responsible party being charged for road repair costs.
