Free Clubroot Soil Testing

The Ministry of Agriculture and Sask Oilseeds (formerly Sask Canola) are sponsoring free on-farm clubroot soil testing.

 

Clubroot is no longer declared a pest under the Plant Health Act (formerly the Pest Control Act). However, clubroot is still considered a threat. Soil testing your fields for the clubroot spores is part of a proactive management strategy. The results of the soil test remain confidential - They do not ask for the land location, only the producers name, phone number and email for results to be sent.

 

Clubroot kits can be mailed to the lab directly, dropped off at your nearest regional office, or can be dropped off up at the RM office.

 

Deadline is October 31, 2025.
