Saskatchewan’s updated carbon monoxide (CO) alarm requirements come into force November 1, 2026. CO is invisible, odourless and potentially deadly - making properly installed and maintained alarms essential.

 

  • Check your CO and smoke alarms
  • Test them regularly
  • Replace expired alarms
  • Make sure alarms are installed in the required locations
