The RM of Prince Albert No. 461 has been honoured with the Top Rural Municipal Led Project award for 2024, recognizing our newly built Municipal Centre. This facility was designed to encompass our shop, office and Council Chambers while also serving as an emergency response centre.

The Municipal Centre offers state-of-the-art meeting spaces and amenities, supporting the growth of our community. The surrounding area is experiencing dynamic expansions with several enterprises emerging in their design phases.

We believe this development represents a significant step forward in fostering innovation and resilience in the rural community.

Carlton Trail College and the Rural Municipality of Prince Albert have received an award at the Saskatchewan Economic Development Alliance’s (SEDA) 2022 Provincial Summit.

The Award of Excellence was in the Community Project category (Under 5,000 population) for the Carlton Trail College/R.M. of Prince Albert – Heavy Equipment Operator Training Partnership.

The partnership sees people trained in an in-demand provincial occupation, while also providing municipal road construction and maintenance in return.
