Shipping Container 1 Year Amnesty
The RM has updated its zoning regulations — shipping containers are now allowed within the municipality.
We are introducing a 1-year amnesty period, ending October 30, 2026, which includes:
✔ No enforcement during the amnesty period
✔ No Development Permit Fee
✔ No SAMA Assessment Fee
✔ No Administration Fee
Building Permit Fee still applies
If you currently have a shipping container or plan to bring one onto your property, now is the time to get it permitted under reduced fees.
