Ducks Unlimited Canada - Lands Available for Hay and Grazing
In an ongoing effort to manage DUC-held properties as waterfowl and wildlife habitat while also assisting Saskatchewan livestock producers meet their required need for adequate forage, DUC has again opened its tender process for lands to hay or graze.
Each year, they make available roughly 75,000 acres of hay and pasture, including several quarters of land currently up for management in the RM of Prince Albert.

Considerations for Bidders:
- Cutting may start on or after July 15,2025.
- All hay must be removed from the property by October 15,2025.
- The bidder will leave a minimum of 4 inches of stubble on property.
- Only one cut of hay is allowed.
- The bidder must provide payment in full to DUC prior to cutting.
