Good morning, RM of Prince Albert. Please be advised there is a Municipal Fire Ban Order, effective at 10:52 am, (today) Tuesday September 26th, 2023.

SaskEnergy, TransGas and Sask 1St Call is providing social media content that will help spread the word about safe digging practices which can be used on municipal websites and social media accounts. We have included two images with associated copy including additional options that can be posted. Making this information available to your ratepayers and your R.M. Foreman will provide a resource to encourage working safely around buried infrastructure. If ratepayers are putting in fenceposts, planting trees, draining sloughs or doing any other digging or ground disturbance, we want to remind them to please take the time to call Sask1st Call or Click Before you Dig.
Contact Sask1stCall (1-866-828-4888, or online at www.sask1stcall.com or www.clickbeforeyoudig.com) to conduct line locates and mark the location of the existing underground infrastructure within and adjacent to the proposed work area. Line locates should be requested a minimum of three full working days prior to the start of work and must be completed prior to ground disturbance activities. Please be aware that the record of locate is valid for 10 business days.
The SaskEnergy and TransGas crossing coordination web pages and crossing application forms are linked below if you are planning to conduct any ground disturbance or work with heavy machinery within 30.0 meters of the TransGas or SaskEnergy easement or within 5.0 meters of the gas line.
