Good afternoon, RM of Prince Albert!
We just wanted to do a quick Road Maintenance Update being that the long weekend is quickly approaching.
It seems that we are in for some nice weather, and unfortunately what comes with that is a ton of spring road work. Please be advised that our Public Works Department has a plan in place and will be hitting the ground running next Tuesday April 11th, starting with our main roadways, and as weather permits and as frost elevates we will than start expanding further into the RM.
We know that there are area’s of the RM that require immediate attention, however we want to wait just a little bit longer before we start cutting and grading to allow for the roads to (hopefully) be a little dryer.
Please be patient with us and know that we will be out next week in full force, in order to rectify these concerns as quickly and efficiently as we can.
Any major road concerns will be posted as they arise.
Road Bans are in effect come Friday April 7th at 12:01 AM.
