SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT, PLEASE SHARE!
Good afternoon, RM of Prince Albert.
We are reaching out today in hopes to get to as many people as possible regarding road maintenance and safety. It has come to our attention that there are areas in the RM where children are building snow forts in our municipal right-of-way, which is an arm’s length away from our grader and its blade. This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS place to play, please, we cannot stress the importance of children staying away from the ditches when playing.
Often weather does not always work in our favor, and visibility becomes very poor when snow is coming off the blades.
Our goal is not to discourage children from playing, however we need to ensure everyone’s safety.
