Maintenance Update

Hello everyone,

This week, we have a couple graders finishing up from last week in Division 2, and will be working towards Division 3.  The other graders are finishing up in Division 6 and will be starting in Divisions 4 and 5.  Keep in mind that this is the time of the year when the frost is starting to come out of the ground, therefore creating frost boils on the road.  The operators will do their best to look after them, but in the meantime, drive careful.

Some of our Operators are still working their way through removing top soil for the new service road at the new RM build site.

In Divisions 4, 5 and 6, we have a few employees that are cleaning out culverts that the beavers have been plugging with debris.

And last but not least, our equipment requires round the clock maintenance to keep them maintained for longevity and functionality – therefore work is still underway at the RM shop!!

Some employees will be trying to install signs and our Welcome signs throughout the RM, providing that the frost is out of the ground.

Also, please don’t forget that if your interested in the 50/50 cost share for dust control, please give us a call at the office to make arrangements.

We are thrilled that we are able to get an early start on maintenance around the RM – If there should be any questions or concerns that you may have or note any culverts that are posing a threat to any RM infrastructure, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at the office so we are able to draw immediate attention to them.

Please also keep in mind, that there is a Fire Ban in effect.  Let’s be safe out there.

Enjoy this beautiful week ahead of us & Take care.
